On May 4–5, the Akmola Regional Philharmonic named after Ükili Ybyrai hosted the popular “FOLK SHOW” project. The unique program has already gained recognition from more than 20,000 audience members across Kazakhstan and has become a successful example of combining national art with modern musical trends.

The author and conductor of the project is «Мәдениет саласының үздігі» Ädilet Azbayev. Under his direction, the K. Kumisbekov Kazakh Folk Instruments Orchestra presented an original concert program that blended traditional melodies with contemporary musical styles. Each composition preserved its national character while gaining a fresh modern sound.

The concert program featured soundtracks, world-famous hits, rock compositions, traditional kui pieces and popular songs, creating a vibrant atmosphere and leaving a strong impression on the audience.

The concert brought together laureates of republican competitions Serikbolsyn Bekmoldin, Inara Mukusheva, Saida Sagdi, Amangali Zhumatayev, Alan Bektemirov, Arai Bukayeva, instrumental performers Saida Rashit, Sayat Babayev, Dmitriy Petyul, Olga Gergel, as well as the “Gäkku” dance ensemble and the chamber choir, making the evening’s program even more diverse and memorable.
