On November 28, at the official closing ceremony of “Aktau – Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2025,” the “Gakku” dance ensemble performed, proudly representing not only our region but all of Kazakhstan.

It was a moment when our culture, national identity, and Kazakh spirit shone brightly on the international stage. Among hundreds of artists from various countries of the Turkic world, the Gakku ensemble displayed impeccable mastery, showcasing the beauty and grandeur of Kazakh dance. The large-scale event held in Aktau marked a special year that strengthened the unity of Turkic peoples and their cultural ties. And taking part in such a high-level closing ceremony is a great honor and a tremendous responsibility. A thousand thanks to the ensemble’s leader, Gulmira Ordabayeva!
