On May 28, the Akmola Regional Philharmonic named after Ükili Ybyrai hosted the creative evening “The Nightingale of the Steppe” by Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Jamila Zharkymbayeva. The concert, which highlighted the harmony between classical music and national art, left a lasting impression on the audience and became a memorable cultural event.

With her captivating voice, natural stage presence, and exceptional artistry, the acclaimed singer enchanted listeners from the very first notes. Each performance unfolded as an emotional musical story, touching the hearts of the audience and revealing the depth and beauty of vocal art. Demonstrating remarkable mastery of classical vocal technique, Jamila Zharkymbayeva conveyed the character and emotion of every piece with sincerity and refinement.

During the evening, accompanied by the K. Kumisbekov Kazakh Folk Instruments Orchestra, the singer performed a selection of outstanding works by Kazakhstani and international composers, including celebrated arias, lyrical romances, and beloved folk songs.

The concert program also featured her fellow musicians and long-time creative partners, Serikbolsyn Bekmoldin and Madiar Abay (accordion), whose performances and warm support added a special atmosphere to the evening.
