On October 19, a creative evening titled "Tugan zherim – tugyrym" ("My Homeland – My Foundation") was held on the stage of the Philharmonic, dedicated to Mara Esmukhanova. A recipient of the honorary badge "Honored Worker of Culture" and the "Veteran of Labor" medal, she has devoted many years to promoting the nation’s rich musical heritage and culture, passing on her vast experience to the younger generation.
To congratulate and support the artist, honored artists of Kazakhstan Bagdat Samedinova and Myrzhakhmet Mukamanov, as well as the VIA “Karakoz” ensemble, took part in the evening, presenting their performances to the audience. The program also featured creative groups from the philharmonic, including the K. Kumisbekov Kazakh Folk Instruments Orchestra, the "Gakku" dance ensemble, young performers, and colleagues from the stage. Among them was Zhanat Yesov, holder of the "Honored Worker of Culture" title and the "People's Gratitude" medal. In addition, the singer's husband, Bolat Esmukhanov — also an "Honored Worker of Culture" — performed the songs "Nege solai" and "Asylym". Their son, Kambar, dedicated the song "Anashym" ("Mom") to his mother, while their grandchildren, Inkar, Sultan, and Aliyar, presented the song "Aq äzhem" ("My Dear Grandma").
