On March 19, the stage of the Ukili Ybyrai Akmola Regional Philharmonic hosted a vibrant joint concert by the ethno group “Orda” and the “Gakku” Dance Ensemble.
The ethno group “Orda,” dedicated to preserving and reinterpreting Kazakhstan’s national musical heritage in a contemporary context, presented a unique musical experience. The performance masterfully blended the rich sounds of ancient instruments with modern musical elements, offering audiences a fresh perspective on the nation’s cultural legacy that has been passed down through centuries.
The “Gakku” Dance Ensemble enriched the concert with expressive choreographic performances distinguished by strong national character and deep artistic meaning. Through movement, rhythm, and stage expression, the dancers vividly conveyed the essence of each musical piece, enhancing its emotional impact.
The program featured works that celebrate national identity, heroism, unity, love for the homeland, reverence for mothers, as well as the spirit of the Great Steppe and the essence of the Nauryz holiday.
This evening became a harmonious fusion of tradition and modernity, where music and dance came together to present Kazakhstan’s rich cultural heritage in a renewed artistic form.
