On February 4, the Akmola Regional Philharmonic named after Ükili Ybyrai hosted, for the first time, a concert by the Chamber Kobyz Ensemble entitled “The Soft Glow of Candles — the Deep Breath of Music…”.

This камерный evening captivated the audience with its unique atmosphere of tranquility and reflection, the deep, warm timbre of the kobyz, and exquisite musical works performed on stage. Classical and contemporary compositions, delicately interwoven with the subtle sound of string instruments, created a profound emotional experience, allowing listeners to sense the inner nuances and depth of the musical language.

The program featured laureates of national competitions Serikbolsyn Bekmoldin and Alan Bektemir, as well as artists of the “Gäkku” dance ensemble — Almira Zholdangar and Aidana Nurlanova. In addition, Madiar Abay presented a solo performance on the bayan, masterfully interpreting “Autumn Leaves” by Joseph Cosma and “Tango pour Claude” by Richard Galliano, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.
