On June 17, a concert dedicated to the anniversary of Chamber Choir conductor and recipient of the honorary title “Excellence in Culture,” Galina Kolesnikova, took place at the Philharmonic.
The evening featured a diverse and engaging program that brought together works by Kazakh, international, and contemporary composers. The audience enjoyed compositions by Abai, Akhmet and Gaziza Zhubanov, Seidolla Baiterekov, Shamshi Kaldayakov, Franz Schubert, Arno Babajanian, Maxim Dunaevsky, and many others.
Particularly memorable were the a cappella performances, as well as collaborative numbers featuring Philharmonic soloists, the Symphony Orchestra, and the Gakku Dance Ensemble. Vivid musical interpretations, outstanding artistic excellence, and a rich variety of genres created a unique atmosphere and were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The concert became a true celebration of choral art, bringing together talented musicians and admirers of classical music on one stage and leaving the audience with lasting impressions.
