On December 15, 2025, the creative ensembles of the Akmola Regional Philharmonic named after Ukili Ybyrai took part in the grand opening ceremony of the “RIO 2” shopping center in the city of Kokshetau.

As part of the event, performances were given by the Philharmonic’s “Ainakul” Folklore Ensemble (artistic director — Madiar Abai), the “Gakku” Dance Ensemble (artistic director — Gulmira Ordabayeva, Honored Cultural Worker), as well as leading soloists of the Philharmonic. The concert program featured Cultural Figure and recipient of the “Khalyk Algysy” Medal Zhanat Yesov, recipient of the “Yeren Yegin Ushin” Medal Elmira Toleubayeva, and Saida Sagdi. The participation of the Philharmonic’s ensembles gave the opening ceremony a rich cultural character and enhanced the artistic level of this significant event. The presented program demonstrated a high professional standard of national musical and choreographic art.
