On December 16, in honor of an important national holiday — Independence Day, which symbolizes the sovereignty and freedom of Kazakhstan as well as the country’s development and unity, the Philharmonic’s creative ensembles performed at the “Okzhetpes” Sanatorium, located in the Burabay resort area, congratulating guests and staff on the occasion.

The concert program featured the “Ainakul” Folklore Ensemble (artistic director — Madiar Abai), the “Gakku” Dance Ensemble (artistic director — Gulmira Ordabayeva, Honored Cultural Worker), as well as the Philharmonic’s soloists: Lazzat Yedrisova (Honored Cultural Worker), Elmira Toleubayeva, recipient of the “Yeren Yegin Ushin” Medal, Sarsenbay Khasenov (Outstanding Trade Union Member of the Cultural Sector), Aiyakoz Kalmaganbetova, recipient of the state award “Shapagat,” Mergali Khamit, Altynbek Bektemir, and Inara Mukusheva. The folklore and dance ensembles, along with the talented soloists, showcased the richness of Kazakh vocal, musical, and choreographic art, enhancing the spiritual significance of Independence Day.
