On April 16, the Akmola Regional Philharmonic named after Ukili Ybyrai hosted a creative evening of composer and Kazakhstan’s first saxophonist Erkin Sletdinov.

The concert offered the audience an immersion into the composer’s rich musical world, presenting well-known works that reveal his artistic vision, emotional depth, and distinctive creative style.

The evening opened with the song “Qazaq eli” (lyrics by Sh. Sariyev), performed by recipient of the state award “Shapagat” Ayakoz Kalmaganbetova, accompanied by a pop wind orchestra.

The program featured: “Tu tikkender turaly ballada” by B. Tazhibayev performed by Bekulan Yerbolatuly, “Sen aman bol, suyiktim” by Sh. Sariyev performed by Aray Bukayeva and Alan Bektemirov, “Ak zhaulakty anaga” by B. Tazhibayev performed by Amangali Zhumatayev, and “Kos kaiyn” by B. Tazhibayev performed by Serikbolsyn Bekmoldin.

«Мәдениет саласының үздігі» Lyazzat Edrissova and recipient of the “Halyk Algysy” medal Zhanat Esov performed the popular song “Baldauren” by Sh. Sariyev.

Saida Sagdi and Anastasia Melnik presented D. Nakipov’s works “Music of the Moon” and “Mother’s Name,” while Inara Mukusheva performed “Sol bir an” by Sh. Sariyev, warmly received by the audience.

The program also included the composer’s songs “Kar zhauyp tur” and “Ainalayin kyz bala,” which resonated with listeners.

A special highlight of the evening was the performance by the composer’s spouse, Қазақстанның еңбек сіңірген әртісі Kapash Kulysh, who delivered a heartfelt rendition of Yestay’s “Kusni-Korlan.”

The concert also featured the “Gakku” dance ensemble, as well as instrumentalists Dmitry Petyul and Alibek Akhmalishev.

The evening left a profound emotional impression on the audience, highlighting Erkin Sletdinov’s significant place in national music and showcasing the results of his creative work.

Advisor to the Akmola Region Akim, holder of the Order of “Barys” I degree Zhabal Yergaliuly, congratulated the composer and presented a letter of appreciation on behalf of Akim M. Akhmetzhanov. Қазақстанның еңбек сіңірген қайраткері, Professor Raushan Musakhodzhaeva presented a congratulatory letter from the Rector of the Kazakh National University of Arts named after Kulyash Baiseitova, G. Akhmediyarov.

In addition, «Мәдениет саласының үздігі», holder of the “Kazakhstan Danky” order and the medal “Eren enbegi ushin” Kanapieva Saule Tolegenkyzy delivered a congratulatory speech.
