On March 28, the Akmola Regional Philharmonic named after Ukili Ybyrai hosted a creative evening of Baikal Bayadil — a member of the World Union of Writers, Honored Journalist of Kazakhstan, distinguished figure in the information and cultural sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan, poet and writer-journalist — titled “Zhaqsylygyny Kokshe’nin Zhaiydym Elge”.

Baikal Bayadil is a prominent figure in Kazakh journalism, known for his distinctive авторial style. For many years, he served as a regional correspondent in the Akmola region for the national newspaper Egemen Kazakhstan, addressing pressing social issues. He is widely recognized as the author of numerous analytical articles, investigative reports, and television programs. More than fifty of his books have been published.

The evening offered audiences an insightful journey through the writer’s life and творчество, presenting his reflections and new works while revealing the expressive power of literary art.

The program opened with a documentary film dedicated to the life and work of Baikal Bayadil.

The концерт featured performances by the Philharmonic’s soloists accompanied by the Kazakh Folk Instruments Orchestra named after K. Kumisbekov, including Zhanat Yesov, Zhamila Zharkymbayeva, Elmira Toleubayeva, Aiykoz Kalmaganbetova, as well as Saida Sagdi, Inara Mukusheva, Altynbek Bektemir, Alan Bektemirov, Amangali Zhumatayev, the “Gakku” Dance Ensemble, a chamber choir, and Talgat Galeev, soloist of the Astana Opera.

As part of the evening, poet Muhammed Konkayev presented a dedication to the writer, while actors of the Sh. Kusainov Kazakh Musical Drama Theatre performed poetic works, creating a vivid сценическое portrayal of Baikal Bayadil’s personality.

The event also featured the presentation of the author’s new book. Speeches were delivered by public figure Zhabal Yergaliyev and Deputy General Director of Kazakh Gazetteri Kambar Akhmet, who highly praised the writer’s contribution to journalism and literature.

The evening concluded with a congratulatory speech by Deputy Akim of the Akmola region Altynai Baikadamkyzy.
